exploring inverness with convenient access to landmarks and parks
I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was excellent, starting my days off right for city strolls to nearby spots like the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery just over a kilometer away and the vibrant Victorian Market less than a kilometer from the hotel. the room was cozy too, perfect for a single traveler like myself, although the disabled parking situation could use some improvement.

Had a wonderful time with my friends! We enjoyed playing billiards in the hotel and took a fun day trip to explore the nearby castle and scenic lochs. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was top-notch, giving us a great start to each day. The clean rooms and convenient location made our stay even better.
One downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower. It made for an annoying experience trying to get a comfortable temperature while showering.

Awesome stay!
Stayed here for a night as a couple. Super close to the city center, which made things easy. The staff were fantastic, even helped us with our bags! Room was decently sized with a comfy bed. Breakfast was legit, and the bar was pretty nice too. Only wish the function room wasn't so close. bit noisy in the evening.

Friendly vibes and awesome food
The staff were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Our top-floor room was a bit cozy, but very clean. Had dinner at the pub, and wow, the chicken fajitas were served on a cake stand – such a cool touch! Missed breakfast since we left early, a packed lunch would’ve been nice if we'd known. great stay.

I recently stayed for one night at The Chieftain Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in. The room was spacious and clean, which felt very comfortable. A nice touch was finding two free bottles of Irn Bru waiting for me. The breakfast was well cooked, and I appreciated how ample the food portions were. I did notice some maintenance issues. the bathroom had a constant sound of water running, which was a bit annoying. the bed felt too hard for my preference. The location was decent, just a short walk to the city center, but noise from outside could be heard.

Recommended for business travelers
The breakfast was incredible, freshly cooked to order, probably the best I've had anywhere. the staff were exceptional, they attended to every need without breaking a sweat, especially Helen and Tasha, they truly make it feel like a 1st class establishment.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for.
